University of Wisconsin has a self-paced, competency-based program

Thank you for the update and all those details? How many terms did it take you overall? And how much did you transfer in? Just the required 60 credits, or more?

1. It took me 7 total terms, with 2 of them being single-course terms. I also took 2 long breaks throughout those terms.

My reason for taking the first single-course term was to avoid going above my job's tuition reimbursement max 6-month limit. The second time was my final term, where I finished a course I didn't have enough time to complete during my 6th term.


2. I entered as a 2nd degree student, skipping straight to the major requirements. I was able to transfer in the max number of credits, but none of them were relevant to my degree program.

Interesting. I have several bachelors and masters degrees, but I always forget about those courses I took at WGU, specifically in Healthcare Admin. I did a total of 4 healthcare courses and 1 business course there.

After reading some of those courses that you took through the Biomedical Science program, some of them are name-for-name. I am genuinely curious now about how many I could possible transfer in. I wonder if some of those program major requirements may be eliminated for me. I'll have to reach out and see.
