My daughter is working on Intro to Statistics on ALEKS as well. You may request an assessment from the administrator's account.
If you do not, then after you work through so much of the info. (i.e. 13-15%) it will trigger ALEKS to request you take an assessment.
If you are lucky enough to score a 70% on that initial assessment, the wholah~ you are done! Log out and go to the ACE website and request it to be sent. (this is all done online.....someone in an earlier post many pages back, listed exact instructions and says it only takes about 5 minutes.)
If you wish to take one earlier, then simply log on through the admin. account and request an assessment.........go out of admin account..........back in under your name and the assessment should be there for you.
IF YOU GET A 70% ON THAT INITIAL ASSESSMENT~ DO NOT GO ANY FURTHER! YOU ARE DONE. (Hope that doesn't look like I'm screaming~ HA! just wanted to get the attention to whomever is reading this. If you go any further beyond the assessment, you will have to get a 70% on another assessment to get your credit. Feel free to go further if you feel you need to master higher than 70%, but it is not necessary to get you college credit.
The 70% is through the assessment that you MUST earn to get the credit.
