No abuse of Fox News please. It has some far greater qualities than many mainstream news networks. The bias of some of these media can be appalling -- but that's a conversation for another time. (By the way, I don't watch TV, including Fox, though I occasionally watch an online clip from a major news network.)

How are you so sure the poor don't want to work. Please don't tell me you are basing it on what you see in Boise alone.

I am very sure some of the poor do want to work. But then again, some do not. When I lived in New Mexico (where poverty is not hidden), it was usual to see people on the side of the street asking for handouts. Sometimes these people are offered help by a charitable organization, but reject the help because these organizations want them to work while they do not. We need to help the poor, yes, but with the realization that there will always be some people who will not aspire to anything but poverty. There are lazy people just as there are motivated people.
