ALEKS is usable for learning all by itself (I did so, for pre-Algebra, about 70 hours, much of which was relearning), but I find Business Statistics benefits from supplementary material. . . .
Likewise, for College Algebra: I've dogeared my copy of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Algebra, and have made good use of College Algebra Demystified. The Idiot's and Demystified books for PreCalculus have also been handy too, as not everything in ALEKS is covered in College Algebra books. The PurpleMath website has also been very, very helpful. Occasional Google searches for certain topics as well as YouTube videos round out the study kit I've been using.
