You may be able to get rid of some grades at Excelsior. Talk to your advisor about it. I've been emailing them about this process, and my understanding is you have 30 days to get rid of certain classes before they permanently appear on your transcripts. That should help your GPA.
You'll want to check for updates, but to my knowledge, the following DSST tests give you letter grades. You can fill all of your electives with these.
DSST - A History of the Vietnam War
DSST - Art of the Western World
DSST - Astronomy
DSST - Business Law II
DSST - Environment and Humanity
DSST - Foundations of Education
DSST - Fundamentals of Counseling
DSST - General Anthropology
DSST - Human / Cultural Geography
DSST - Human Resource Management
DSST - Introduction to Law Enforcement
DSST - Introduction to the Modern Middle East
DSST - Lifespan Developmental Psychology
DSST - Management Information Systems
DSST - Money and Banking
DSST - Organizational Behavior
DSST - Physical Geology SF519
DSST - Principles of Financial Accounting
DSST - Principles of Physical Science I
DSST - Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union
DSST - Substance Abuse
DSST - Technical Writing
DSST - The Civil War and Reconstruction
DSST - Western Europe Since 1945
