math 102 and math 103 ..
so as it stands the beginner algebra would have been a duplicate. this screws over other people more than it does me. if you typically write a letter to TESC or call them up it might be able to be corrected. I had some recent NFA Courses so I was saved.
The proctoring doesnt matter they took NFA and that isn't proctored!
Colleges do change their rules all the time, but honestly I'd rather deal with Thomas Edison or Excelsior than schools like Penn State or Baruch College. At least with TE or EXC you can transfer in damn near all of your credits. There is no residency requirement!
That's not going to affect most people because typically those who are taking ALEKS beginner algebra are taking that in lieu of the College Algebra CLEP. Obviously, TESC is not going to give you credit twice for MAT 102. ALEKS beginner algebra was the first math I took to fulfill my AA with TESC which btw was conferred for March 2010. Now I just double checked my evaluation again for my BA and nothing has changed. Everything on Cook's list is correct except for the Stats which was discussed on a different thread already which you can get only get credit for one of the courses but one member here was fortunate enough to get credit for 2 before the changes I guess.
