Credit for ALEKS Corp (McGraw Hill) Online courses in College Algebra & Statistics

Does this mean that ALEKS Beginning Algebra is accepted by TESC as a college-level course? I took both ALEKS Beginning & Intermediate Algebra and just officially enrolled at TESC. In speaking with TESC, they couldn't tell me for sure until the transcript from ACE arrived - just ordered this today to be sent over to them. I'm trying to finish BA in Liberal Studies and depending upon how Beginning Algebra is accepted this will determine which course I have to take at TESC - Earth Science or Middle East History (I hope for the latter). Thanks. Btw, that was the bad news I got today that I would need to take 1 class through TESC in order to have a GPA. I had thought my community college classes would take care of that, but apparently not. So depending upon how both ALEKS classes are received, this will determine which of the 2 remaning courses I will take the DSST exam and which one I'll take the class at TESC.

IrishJohn, yes Beginning Algebra will be accepted. I just got it accepted within the last 2 months to complete my AA. Cook's updated list is right, except now every Stats class is STA201 now. If you need to call TESC ever about ALEKS I suggest you talk to Nia Abuwi because as you can see from this thread depending on the advisor you speak to you may get a different answer which can put you in the wrong state of mind like a lot of us have gone through.
