I took it in June and scored well. The concepts aren't difficult, but there is a lot of terminology to memorize. Primary study material was the InstantCert flashcards, the 2010 edition of "Cracking the AP Environmental Science Exam" by The Princeton Review, and the "Environmental Studies" SparkChart.
I posted a lot more in the Specific Exam Feedback forum but I no longer have access there so I forgot what I wrote. If you subscribe to InstantCert you do so go have a look. I found that the advice from the test takers is spot on.
