I'm still pretty much blown away by any waitstaff who would be so rude, much less to soldiers. I actually had a really great time yesterday.. was on the way home and had to sit in the airport for several hours. The bar was totally full and the soldiers ended up sitting with me. I don't know too many people that are military, and these guys were on their way home, hadn't been back in the US for a year. It was so interesting hearing their stories. (And sorry DH if you read this, but wow they were cute too... I love a uniform lol)

Anyhow.. so the waitress was totally uncalled for. She was loud too and after she complained, there was a huge moment of awkward silence. A couple of the soldiers looked so upset, but of course way too polite to say anything.

Anyhow.. now just trying to forget about that crazy waitress and remember that I had a great time while stuck in the airport.
