How easily is COSC Psychology degree tested out of? Can you satisfy all the core requirements (except the seminar and capstone) with test? Here's a list of test I am thinking of taking to meet the requirements. I am not too sure what the GRE covers but I assume out of the 18 credits, most are probably lower level.
CLEP Intro to Psychology (3LL)
CLEP Intro to Ed Psychology (3LL)
ECE Abnormal Psychology (3UL)
ECE Adulthood & Aging (3UL)
ECE Social Psychology (3UL)
ECE Research Methods in Psychology (3UL)
GRE Subject Test Psychology (15LL+3UL)
Total:21LL+18UL

I don't know how many of those are UL, but I will say that the GRE is a darn hard exam, passing that with a score sufficient for the credit is no easy task.
It would probably be easier to attempt a dual concentration so you would only need 15 UL Psych credits plus the Capstone for your primary Psych concentration. History comes to mind as a possibility.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

While the GRE will be difficult, I feel 3-5 months of an hour a day should be more than sufficient to pass for credit. It is my understanding that it is 15 LL and 3 UL credits which seems like a worthy trade-off considering how free Psychology test there are compared to Business and other majors. Also consider that military get one GRE test reimbursed through DANTES. Also I annotated the original post with LL or UL credit. Now that I look at it, I guess the real question is how much overlap the GRE has with the other test.

Ok, 18 UL credits, where will your other 12 UL's come from?
I suspect you could sneak the DSST Substance Abuse in there, everything doesn't have to have a Psych prefix.....but you will be required to have a total of thirty UL credits.

Just so you;re aware, U of Idaho has a bunch of UL Psych independent study courses at about $110/credit, might be useful to fill in a course or three

Yup, I am short a bit. That is why I was wondering of there were any other alternative credit opportunities. Uni of Idaho seems like a good alternative. And my understanding of double majors is that you "take" the credit from electives. Are you saying I could reduce the required amount of UL credit for Psychology if I double majored in say History?

BYU Independent also has a bunch of Psych courses. They run about $534 per course plus books.
