Capella is now offering the Doctor of Human Services (DHS) degree in Leadership and Organizational Management through its competency-based FlexPath format. The DHS is also offered through the semester-course-based GuidedPath. The catalog states,
Quote:Throughout the specialization, learners gain and apply skills in effective negotiation and mediation, conflict management, and creating effective collaboration across an organization. Learners will also develop the ability to systematically collect and analyze data for projects such as needs assessments and program evaluation.
The program consists of 12 courses then 5 doctoral project (capstone) courses. Tuition for the FlexPath format is $3,000 per 12-week session. The program is not designed to meet licensure requirements for counseling, social work, or any other licensed profession.

Does the Higher learning Commission also keep track what programs are listed specifically?(in name) or is there another website for it? (i am kinda new to the US system)
I have to say the Collegescorecard.ed.gov website does a good job comparing programs and institutions

The HLC's public directory of accredited schools doesn't list programs by name.

It's one capstone project divided into five parts.

<Curious> For those speedsters, I assume it's not going to be possible to do 3 sessions... 6 classes/session, 12 would be 2 sessions, and then the final session for the projects! Haha, that would be just a whopping $9 grand total (including other fees if any). Hmm...

Capella now appears to be discontinuing all their programs titled Human Services at every degree level, including the Doctor of Human Services.
