I wanted to know from those that have succesfully taken the MIS exam, is instacert enough to pass with an A? I thought about taking this exam, but wondering if I needed any kind of additional materials or studying instacert for a few weeks would be good enough.

Be sure to go through CLEP Information Systems and Copmuter applications because most of the Exam contents overlap,
Also I do a search on the forum and read the FEEDBACK for MIS, they is great information that will help you alot on you Exam and yes with the two MIS And CLEP informations systems you should be able to pass

Yes, I took MIS a couple of weeks ago. I got a 59 and all I used was instantcert flashcards and I googled the topics listed in the exam specific feedback of this forum.
Good luck.

I agree with everything stated above.
I took MIS as well as Intro to computers and computer applications about a month ago and there was a lot of overlap (9 credits in a day if choose to do them all and your school accepts them). Instacert and past threads on this forum was enough to get me two As and a pass.

I concur, I used IC and backed that up with the Peterson's practice tests (MUCH harder than the real test) and earned an A. Good Luck!
