I am uncertain about exactly how an ACE transcript works, but I've taken two Penn Foster courses so far, and have plans for two more to tackle TESC degree requirements. Since I'm taking these as individual courses at Penn Foster, they have issued different student ID numbers for each, and say I need to order the transcripts individually (I asked to put them on the same student ID and was told it could not be done.) Does this mean I'll need a different ACE transcript each time? Or can I wait until I've finished all four courses, have the transcripts sent at the same time, and have just one ACE transcript created? I could not find any definitive answer on the ACE website about how different transcripts are handled, but may have overlooked?

You can wait and have them added together. That;s what I did and I've taken over ten PF courses and have about 7 different PF student IDs. It all ends up on the same ACE transcript and i didn't have to do anything special. However, if you already have an ACE account, I wouldn't wait to add the courses. You can add them individually as soon as you're done with each class and it doesn't cost anything. It only costs when you order a transcript.
While I was taken a course, the ACE recommendation for credit suddenly expired. Luckily, I found out about the expiration from this forum. So I immediately finished the course and got on the phones and was able to get the credit. But had I not read that post, I would've taken my time finishing the course and could have had more problems getting the credit.

That helps, thank you! As far as the ACE recommendation expiration, from what I saw and read, that was only for select courses, but the majority are still valid. Was that not the case?

Right, the majority of their classes kept their recommendation. Unfortunately for me some of the classes that lost their recommendation, electronic/technical based lost theirs. And those just happened to be the ones I needed for my area of focus. Put me in a scramble but overall I am thankful for and enjoyed my Penn Foster experience. Just wish they had given students more notice or put more info on their site before the classes started expiring. And that may be ACE's fault as well for not updating their site until after the fact as well.
