I am going to take the English and Spanish Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) from The Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) over the phone, and I had a few questions. I know that they are accredited through ACE, and I want to get the college credit for the Spanish test. I can find the part on the ACE website that says they recommend the credit. But I can't find how to add the OPI to the transcript like I can with NFA and ALEKS. Do you just take the certificate or the transcript from ACTFL, and give it the the college and then they will evaluate it with the ACE recommendation? Also has anyone has TESC accept the credit from ACTFL?

When you're done with your interview and if you pass, you will need to contact ACTFL and pay $79 (I think) for them to send it over to ACE.

That freaked me out as well with straighterline. I guess when the organization sends it over and it's not initiated by the user that it does not show up on the site in the same location. But SL is on my transcript even though I never found it on the site.

After selecting the general teacher/student link (the only option that seemed to apply to me) it brought me to the ACTFL Proficiency Assessment
Language Testing International-Certified Language Testing in 60+ languages which states :
"it may take two to four weeks from the time of your actual assessment to receive your ACTFL proficiency rating."
Did i make the right selection I dont remeber hearing anyone say itookthat longfor the "rating"?
Any help will be much appreciated.
