All of this--9 pages so far--falls under the category of "If you have to ask...."
There have been zero assertions of membership in place of accreditation on these 9 pages for EIU or for any school mentioned?
If people can tolerate 400 pages of ENEB discussion, they can tolerate 9 pages of EIU analysis.
For anyone who wants a quick summary without reading every page, EIU-Paris currently has the following points of verification and dislosures:
1. ASIC UK Accreditation (Institutionally)
2. ACBSP Accreditation (Programmatic for its Dubai Regional Campus & Duabi online LMS for the Dubai Regional Campus DBA/MBA/BBA)
3. Duly registered in France with a UAI Number assigned by the French Ministry of Education which confirms administrative authorization to operate as an educational provider.
4. IEE (NACES Member) Evaluation as Equivalent to a US degree (for the BBA Top up without ACBSP accrediation)
5. Its non-Dubai Campus, non-ACBSP BBA degree (that I hold) has been accepted for entry into an Italian MUR-regulated Master's level program
6. Is not a French State-accredited degree (Not a diplômes nationaux but instead is a Diplome D'etablissement, a private degree and not state-sponsored)
7. Pursuing inclusion in the RNCP Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (France’s National Register of Professional Certifications)
8. It is a private distance learning institution legally allowed to confer institutional awards under Chapter IV of France's Education Code, and is not a French Public University.
9. It does hold memberships with BGA (UK), ATHEA (Europe) and ECEBE (Belgium), however, that was never the topic of the discussion.
Public verification is available via the French government’s official education portal on the:
Ministère de l’Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse (France’s Ministry of National Education and Youth)
https://www.education.gouv.fr/acce_public/search.php#search_results
(UAI Code: 0756213W) The UAI (Unité Administrative Immatriculée) number is a national education administration identifier assigned by the French Ministry of Education to institutions authorized to operate as education providers in France.
While a UAI does not confer authorization to award diplômes nationaux or RNCP-registered qualifications, it does constitute formal governmental recognition and administrative supervision for lawful operation within the French education framework. This is distinct from state degree accreditation, but it is not “nothing,” and it is publicly verifiable.
I get that a person might still disagree, but I’ve spent the past week laying out the facts and explaining the framework in detail.
At this point, I’m a bit tired of repeating the same points, not interested in going in circles, and I have other priorities I need to focus on right now.
So I’ll be taking a break from the forum for a while. Thanks everyone.
Edit: Redacted copies of my IEE (NACES) evaluation outcome and my Italian MUR-regulated program acceptance are attached below for documentation purposes. Personal details removed. These are posted simply for documentation purposes for future readers, not to argue with anyone further.
