quick question for you all:
I'm nearing the end of my degree (BA in CS) and I need two more classes. The AI class and SWE class.
would the study.com alternatives count as credit for those courses? Here are the study.com courses:
- Computer Science 307: Software Engineering
- Computer Science 311: Artificial Intelligence
really need to know as I am worried that I may fail both of these classes. I really want to graduate on time before the June Commencements.
Thank you All!

Study’s TESU transfer page shows that Study Computer Science 307: Software Engineering transfers to TESU as
CIS-2510 Software Engineering. This suggests it will likely meet the SWE requirement of your degree, though because it isn’t numbered in the 3000s or 4000s, it will not meet an upper-level major requirement.
The transfer page doesn’t list Computer Science 311: Artificial Intelligence. This might have to do with the artificial intelligence course being updated and receiving a new ACE recommendation effective February 1. TESU might not have reviewed the new version yet.

Basically, we won't know until someone tries to get this evaluated by TESU. Once someone does that, they'll update Study.com with whatever the evaluation indicates, thus, Study.com can then update their transfer page with the most updated information provided to them. At this point, whatever it shows is currently what it should be evaluated as...

For what it's worth, the AI class (COS-4510, assuming it hasn't changed since late 2023) isn't bad at all. I don't have the syllabus to share, but there were five written assignments and a final project (all questions from the back of the book). I think the midterm was all written-response questions, and no final.
I did not take the SWE class, so I can't comment on that one.
Unfortunately if you have to take one or both of these courses and have not yet started the term, it will push your graduation to September.

Basically, at this point in time, I would try to pass both classes obviously. If you don't for one of these, you can take the ASU classes that may come in as upper level credits (you just need to get an acceptable score before you pay for the class) I think a couple of these come in as upper level, or other alternative choices.
Another option is to do the TECEP/E-Pack at TESU for one of the classes... The thing is, we don't know what classes you already have for your major/electives, it's best to provide more details of what classes you have taken so we don't recommend duplicates. You may want to screenshot your evaluation with the missing classes.
