Has anyone ever had their ALEKS credits given over a weekend? I finished my assessment early this morning after working to 70% and immediately went to ACE to request the credits. I assume I will have to wait until Monday but that is a real bummer since I will lose two days of time where I can really put it in the hours for my pie charts. I was able to breeze through Beginning and Intermediate at a pretty quick pace as things are coming back to me quickly but I am nervous for College and especially the Stats course and would have liked the extra two days to get moving before my month is up. Do I just have bad timing?

For me it always took until the next Monday. One thing you could do would be to work further around the Intermediate Algebra pie, since ALEKS will magically take that into consideration when it does the College Algebra initial assessment.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
83 hours of ACE-worthy credits

I'm not certain if ALEKS takes it into consideration, or if you just know the material enough to pass it on the College Algebra assessment.
But, I would agree that you can continue on with Intermediate Algebra, since much of the material contained in it is in College Algebra. You can kind of consider Intermediate Algebra to be similar to HS Algebra I, and College Algebra includes HS Algebra II, and there is a lot of Algebra I in Algebra II since a lot of the material they cover is remedial since it's normally been at least a year since a HS student has taken Algebra I (after a year of Geometry).

Yes, I agree, when I took the courses, it seemed like the AI recalls my grades/testing or assessments for the next course.
I took 5 courses in a months time with ALEKS, I think it's possible to do faster but you shouldn't push it too hard.

Thank you for the advice! I kept working through my pie in Intermediate while waiting for the approval over the weekend and I assessed at 68% for College Algebra today. While I am bummed to miss by 2%, I would have scored much lower without continuing over the weekend. I worked on my graphing and sure enough the assessment was filled with graphs (is 12 graph questions out of 30 questions normal?) that I would have not remembered without continuing in Intermediate. I only need to complete 9 topics to reach 70% and re-assess if I want. Way better than it would have been!
