APU/AMU undergraduate and graduate (MBA) programs were recently accredited by the ACBSP. I don't want to get into the whole AACSB vs. ACBSP debate in this thread so let's not do that...
Anyway this is great for folks in this forum. Why? Because I was accepted with no questions asked into an AMU graduate program based on my "test out" BA/LS from TESC. No GMAT, GRE or minimum GPA required! Tuition is also reasonable for grduate studies and books are provided free of charge to undergrad students. I hate to sound like a salesman for this school, I'm certainly not, but I AM a big supporter. Last but not least APU/AMU is regionally and nationally accredited.
APUS Business Programs Certified by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs
EDIT: It occured to me that because of the dual accreditation folks have been known to transfer in undergrad credits from NA schools and then use them to finish up RA programs at AMU/APU or transfer them out again ("laundering"). According to this link ( What's Accepted-Undergraduate-Academic ) AMU/APU will accept up to 15 hours of graduate coursework for transfer from NA or RA schools assuming the student achieved a "B" or higher. I think it would be a great idea to knock out some credits at California Coast University since they are more affordable and self paced, then transfer them into the AMU/APU MBA or other grad degree program.
Thoughts?
EDIT 2: Turns out AMU/APU already has CCU in their transfer equivilency database. Some of the courses definitely transfer over, I am seriously considering going this route. Find Course Equivalents
I found the following four CCU courses that transfer well into AMU/APU MA in Management or MBA programs (I suspect there are probably more):
CCU COURSE.......................................AMU EQ.
BAM 513 FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT........FINC 600 CORPORATE FINANCE
BAM 560 STRATEGIC MANAGEMMENT.....BUSN 620 STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT
BAM 515 ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR....MGMT 601 ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR
BAM 540 PROJECT MANAGEMENT..........MGMT 620 PROJECT MANAGEMENT
