Accelerate Newlane degree with unaccredited degree?
#1
I have been pursuing the Associates Of Arts degree and Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science at SOBAT (School of Business and Trade). The main reason being that Newlane University let's you enroll in their Bachelor's degree without enrolling into their Associates degree if you already earned one.
Does any of you have experience with this process at Newlane? Are they strict about this process  in regards to which Associates degree you hold?

I'd go over to the sister site and ask there. The thread about Newlane University has one of the staff/founders in the replies. https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?thr...ity.57480/

@Stepfano7, no, you don't have to have a specific Associates to go into their Bachelors program. They allow up to 90 credits through ACE/transfer credit options as well, you just need to get your SOBAT evaluated favorably... I'm looking forward to see what the SOBAT comes in as for you as I am thinking of taking their double Masters just for the learning/knowledge gaps it may fill... I remember reading about some people actually getting into Masters in the EU/UK with a SOBAT Bachelors degree with a favorable evaluation.

In Progress: UoPeople BS Health Science

Completed: UMPI BAS & MAOL (2025)
TESU ASNSM Biology, BSBA (ACBSP Accredited 2017)

So getting it validated through validential will actually increase my chances? Wouldn't have expected that.

Only institutions that accept Validential would work, that's not what I meant, you'll have to find something like IEE or whatever else that accepted the ENEB favorably, I would suggest looking at the ENEB WIKI and decide which one would be best (besides Validential). If you're looking at EU/UK, it's none of the ones there, you'll have to go for ENIC-NARIC UK or whichever country version.

After going through the forum a bit i now understand the significance of the evaluator and the organisations they're in.
I'll likely get my AA evaluated by Validential and my BA by IEE. Unless IEE would be more likely to evaluate an AA favourably than a BA?
