Apparently, yes.

Right. While it is comparatively a bit of a hassle to register when you're not Finnish or even EU, it's not that bad. They're pretty quick and responsive. If you have a HAKA login through XAMK, they apparently don't even need to confirm ID. At least, they just registered me almost immediately without needing to do the teleconference thing. I would probably start with a single free course or a cheap single course first to get the hang of things. Once you have the login for that, you should, I believe, be able to self-register & pay for everything else.

Just to be clear, an additional $2-3k; TESU usually costs anywhere between $7k and $9k, depending on what classes you take, while Metropolia would run just under $11k for a non-EU student.

As for direct comparisons, that's difficult to say. It depends on what you want to do with the degree. The Metropolia has a lot more hands-on stuff, and almost no "gen eds".  IIRC, it also involves at least 2 or 3 programming languages. So, it'll better prepare you for some jobs than others. But some jobs will specifically want someone with a Comp Sci degree and an IT degree might not count. Look at job listings for the type of job that you want and see what they're looking for.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

"once you have completed these 180 credits, which costs your 579 euros. If you are an EU/ETA area citizen, the degree itself is free for you. So, no cost there. If you are from outside EU, then you have to pay a tuition free which is 10 000 euros per year.  Since after 180 credits, you have only remaining 60 credits which are 1 year's studies."
Someone had questions if its possible to receive official paper upon completion of 180 credits- i got email saying you just get transcript , no other Certificate or diploma offered with this program
