Advanced English and/or Literature Credits by exam?

Hey,

I was looking through the forum, and Excelsior's student guide to examinations, and I think there are some borderline courses, I'm not sure if they would qualify for Upper Level Credit in Literature or English.

ECE: American Dream, Ethics: Theory and Practice, Bioethics: Philosophical Issues, Literacy Instruction

Do you think any of these would qualify? Or would the two ethics course moreso fall under Philosophy, and the Literacy Instruction under Education?

Ethics/bioethics and philosophy won't fall under Literature or English, rather under Philosophy. Take a look at Ohio University's credit by exam courses in English and perhaps their Great Books courses (which are under Humanities), but could probably count as Literature courses with advisor pre-approval.
