I'll be 29 in a few months.

I started my Bachelor's 7 years ago while I was still in the military, but a lot of stuff happened about 5 years ago and I ended up being forced to take some time off! But now I'm re-committed to getting this degree... I've got 80 credits toward it, 40 left to go! I'm aiming to be done by the end of next year.

I am 20 years old and have 21 credits so far. I've been working on CLEP tests very sparsely for over a year now. I passed Intro to Psych today! Smile

I voted in the Poll but I never posted. I have 9 credits in online classes and am preparing to take some CLEPs including, freshman English composition, Natural Sciences and one more I can't remember the name of right now. At the start of my sophomore year I should have about 25+ credits! I'm 15 years old BTW.

i read about the 16 and 1/2 year old college sophomore and it makes my big head deflate a little. i'm 16 (i turn 17 on july 30) and this is my 3rd offical day as a high school graduate. i took an 8 week long online class (that it turns out my ACT score exempted me from *sob*) so i have that credit. i'm about to take my U.S. history2 CLEP tomorrow and i am currently enrolled in my second online college english class. (i also have a full time job and i am about to move into my very own apartment)

The 16 1/2 yr old astounds me and i wish him/her the best of luck!!!

My daughter turned 17 in February and she only has 6 credits to go before she graduates with her bachelor's degree. I am really proud of her! My husband is 41 and he also has 6 credits to go to complete his bachelor's. He's trying to beat her and finish first but I don't think he will. Smile

Bump...

I am happy to see that us more mature learners are gaining in the percentages. Just today I was trying to talk a friend in her 50's into returning to school. We are never to old to learn, and I find it just as rewarding to exercize my mind as my body. Actually it is much less painful to exercize my mind.Wink
