Drop down "higher ed" and only take the ones that are indicated ACE for credit. BTW their new website is awful. I tried to go in and pull up the page for you, or a list or something, it's all over the place since they were sold. You'll have to dig- but each of the classes eligible for ACE says it, adn if it doesn't SAY it, it won't count.
Found it under my Aleks Master Account:
ACE CREDIT-RECOMMENDED ALEKS COURSES:
Beginning Algebra
Intermediate Algebra
College Algebra
Trigonometry
College Algebra with Trigonometry *
PreCalculus *
Introduction to Statistics
Business Statistics
Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences
Beginning Algebra is listed...I just wonder why it is listed twice. One under continuing ed...one under higher ed....
Thanks though! I will choose higher ed.

ALSO, double check with someone up on TESC policy, I'm 99% sure they don't award credit for Beginning Algebra any more (not that you can't take it for YOU).

They definitely do NOT accept it. I took the course and passed, but they called it a "Developmental" course and did not count it on my transcript. They will take Intermediate Algebra though, and I found it pretty easy to pass.

Man, it must have been nearly two years since I took ALEKS Intermediate Algebra. It was the only math course I needed for my liberal arts degree.
I don't remember if I took a final assessment which finally put me over 70%. I do know I ended up with 71% and ACE approved it, then I transferred it to TESC.
A.A. General Studies- TESC, 2013
B.A. History, TESC, 2014 - Arnold Fletcher Award - 4.0 GPA
M.A. Government, Security Studies - Johns Hopkins University, Class of 2018.
Straighterline - 26 courses, including English Comp. I & II, Western Civilization I & II, U.S. History I & II, Intro. to Sociology, Intro to Philosophy, Cultural Anthropology, Environmental Science, Science of Nutrition, Business Law, Financial Accounting, etc.
ALEKS: Intermediate Algebra
CLEP: Humanities 56, Social Sciences and History 58
FEMA: 6 credits
DSST: Civil War and Reconstruction 71, Introduction to Vietnam War 69, Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union 64, Modern Middle East 71.
TESC courses: War and American Society (A), Liberal Arts Capstone (A).
120/120! I'm there!

Just passed Intermediate Algebra! Wasn't too rough, took the initial assessment and got 66%, grrrrr, so I went into the master account and set up a second assessment and got 70% on that one! I submitted it to ACE and now I'm on to College Algebra! I'm so stoked to get math done and out of the way before I start CC classes in January, I've always hated math and it has always been the biggest thing holding me back, aka scaring me, from getting a degree.

I went all the way to 100% for Int Alg, it made it easier to score higher on College Algebra. Still working through that one, but it was easier to start higher. And have the foundation to work from.

I just want to limp through the finish line when it comes to math. I barely passed int. algebra and I know college algebra is going to be painful because of it but as far as I'm concerned, I've got 1 box checked and 3 more to go. (college A, precalc, statistics)
Those are the only ones that count for TESC, right? everything else is a duplicate?

Yes, those 4 are it. If you can't get through precalc after you finish College Algebra, don't kill yourself trying! You don't need it, so it's just a bonus.
After you finish College Alg & Stats, you might want to take the Liberal Arts Math TECEP, because it contains some of each. You should easily be able to knock it out once those are done, and get those residency credits started.
Good luck!
