Any update on this? I'm very interested to know. I just applied to Excelsior and I have 100+ credits from Westwood College and the waiting game is driving me nuts!!

It can take up to four weeks at least that is what it was for my International credits with some negotiation involved. Did you get your unofficial evaluation back yet? I was surprised it took them sooo long to decide my position although I had to supply them with a syllabus for a 5 credit equivalent class which covered a vast amount of material. My advice is to start planning your subject tests you know none of your previous courses covered and get to work. (ok now back to my homework )
Don't forget that gaining college credit by taking exams is one of the reason's we're here. That's mainly possible through the flashcards made available by the owner of this forum : InstantCert Plus of course your hard work in learning and reviewing

Thanks for the responses!! I just submitted my transcripts last week. I'm going to give it about 3 weeks, before I start nagging them. I've already start to test out of courses. I'm currently working on some Saylor classes (the ACE and NCCRS ones), but before I go too much further, I want to know if they're going to give me 30 credits for Westwood (nationally accredited school). I don't want to run into a situation, where they say I have duplicate courses. Guess I'll try and get 1 or 2 Saylor courses out the way and by then the preliminary review should be completed. Fingers crossed!! 30 credits would really help me out big time!!

Columbia Southern owns a RA school called Waldorf College, which is RA and only $250 per tuition. They will probably take all your hours.. you also have APUS, Southwestern College, Liberty, Bevellue

Also, you can start a grad program like at Liberty and transfer back to Excelsior some of the credits so you double dip and do more with less

When I attended Excelsior, I was told that the only NA credits they accept are those that have been ACE evaluated. They denied my 11 credits from Grantham College. It looks like there was an appeal option that I failed to pursue. Good luck, I look forward to seeing how it works out.
