It is free if you just want the answer..you pay for the steps in getting the answer.
Set yourself goals, not limitations

Mathway is $19.99 a month if you want to see the steps to solving the problem that you are working on. Like Tasman said, if you just want to see the answer--that part is free.

Yeah but I don't see the point in having the answer without the steps? If you were a student of mine (I teach culinary math) and I told you to find half of 1 Tablespoon, what would you write? If you wrote 1/2 Tablespoon, you'd be wrong. Why? cookderosa Wrote:Yeah but I don't see the point in having the answer without the steps? Yes, I agree, there is no point without the steps. If you are trying to learn the concepts you really need to know the steps involved in getting the answer. I find the math videos on YouTube far more helpful. They go through the steps and you can repeat watch as necessary. And they are FREE

I think it's because 1/2 tablespoon is inprecise, and therefore difficult to repeat. There are 15cc'c in 1 Tablespoon so I would answere 7.5 cc's in 1/2 Tablespoon.

You are partially correct. Your logic that 1/2 T is incorrect because it's inprecise is correct, however your answer is wrong. Kitchens don't use cc's. Keep playing ![]() |
