ok, I was thinking the two courses had to be taken together at the same time. The two courses can be completed at different times. So I have finished the science course, I just need to take the lab to get the credit. Thanks

That’s correct! Once you do the Lab and Spanish, you will be at 79 credits.

In my opinion, it’s easier to just complete a BLS or BA with the number of credits you have. Additionally, it seems like you are looking to do a master’s anyway, so I don’t think it matters what bachelor’s you get. The BAS might sound better, but it will take some work and time over just doing a BLS or BA. There are some things to consider if you go the BAS route:

First, you would need an Associate of Applied Science degree to apply for the BAS. Pierpont BOG AAS would work, but you would need to apply very soon at Pierpont to graduate by August if you want to graduate at UMPI by the end of the year.

Second, you would need to have 40+ technical credits to qualify for the UMPI BAS. This would mean doing 3-4 additional Coursera Certs or a combination like bjcheung77 mentioned. You would need to complete these courses by August. At that point, you would have around 110 credits by the time you qualify to apply for the BAS.

Another point to consider is that the document deadline for UMPI Fall 1 is 08/02/24. You will need more input from someone else as I am not sure if you can apply for the BAS while you’re waiting for the actual diploma. You may have to wait to start at Fall 2 if you need the diploma.

I recommend seeing if anything interests you and determining your major/minors. From there, you can decide what credits/Coursera courses you need to do.
