American Gov CLEP for BA in History

Does anyone know if the American Government CLEP will fulfill a history elective (not a general elective) in the BA in History through TESC? I've been trying to get a straight answer through TESC but, as usual, they're not much help. Thanks,

It is a political science class and on my history veal online it shows up in gen Ed not in history electives.
BSBA CIS from TESC, BA Natural Science/Math from TESC
MBA Applied Computer Science from NCU Enrolled at NCU in the PhD Applied Computer Science |
