Maybe a good thing for both

That is... yikes. I can only imagine trying to make it look good on a resume. And an acronym of ASCNHSPU doesn't really help either.

I'd just write it as "American Sentinel College".

The way I'm reading the announcement it seems as thought American Sentinel is going to becoming a college within Post University.  For example, you can say that you attended the Kellogg School of Management but that is a part of Northwestern University and I believe your diploma would say "Northwestern University" at the top, perhaps including the whole Kellogg thing.  So if you wanted to shorten the name it might be more appropriate to say "My degree is from Post University."

You're right. I like that better. When I looked at it I made a quick judgement based on the entirety of the name being so long and thinking of a way to shorten it but overlooked that it's a college within a university system.

I forgot to add last day that American Sentinel obtained RA recently, they were NA and took them a couple of years or so to get RA. They even have competency based degree programs now! Schools are being snatched up left, right, and center...
