Are there any degrees you can get from just testing out? Like English or History?
Thanks!

Do a search, you may find some. The thing is there are many degrees from testing plus straighterline and penn foster and aleks.com so don't get too hung up on just testing since these options are awesome. You can get 4 classes out of aleks for just $30 a month without leaving your home. Straighterline is $100 per month plus $35 or so per class and Penn Foster is about $300 per class including books.
I know these two from TESC can be done through testing and those options mentioned above.
BSBA General Mgmt
BALS
I'm not sure about history but do a search and find out. Its possible. Social sciences may be testoutable too.

Had to do a double-take and follow-up check: ALEKS is $20 a month, even better!
FYI I know there were folks around here 100% testing out (i.e. no ALEKS/etc) of a psychology degree at EC and/or TESC.
Also see Lawrie Miller's plans. She covers a BS and BSBA from EC. She even estimates approx $200 in textbook costs for the entire degree. Yes, theoretically if you already know the material, you could 100% test out and get a full degree in 4 weeks... (:ack: or :coolgleam: not sure which applies here, but that is the site that initially motivated me before coming here)

I was looking into this, I think this plan would work. If you can follow it I used different colors for the type of test Red is CLEP Lightble is DSST orange is ECE green is FEMA. I didn't even use any TECEP they would be a fallback possibility. I have not had this approved just a possibility.

Thanks!
I'm working on the last 6 credits for a History degree from TESC. I think I probably tested out of everything you could. Assuming I did, that leaves 6 Upper Level credits needed. TESC has an UL 6-credit course which I'm almost done with (War and American Society). If you choose the FlashTrack version of the course, it only has a final, so I'm considering it sort of like a really expensive test for which I'm having to read a LOT more than usual. :p It is a paper test... I've never taken one of those... We'll see. Anyway, I've attached my degree plan. I'm still waiting on TESC to evaluate some of my DSSTs, but they've accepted everything they had at that point!
I looked into an English degree a little early on, but I didn't think I'd be able to test out of it as much (at least, from TESC). I might be wrong though. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I forgot to mention that I heard at one point that Ohio U has some tests that might get you the remaining UL history credits. I looked into them a little bit, but decided to go with the course instead.

Maybe? I thought for sure I'd seen a reference to "she" elsewhere, but maybe I'm wrong, or maybe the other source was wrong. Oh well.

You are welcome to use it Ryoder. I am surprised to see how close it is to the plan Elinor used. I did fill it with a lot of the test I have taken or plan to take if I ever finish that second BA.
