I just finished MAT 140 in 3 weeks with an A-, a very nerve wrecking experience especially the final preparations. As someone who got a D in "Intro to Math" and a C in "Statistic Method" decades ago, I recommend taking MAT 140 in UMPI it's easier than SOPHIA's Introduction to Statistics (cause I can't finish the SOPHIA's, it's so much quizzes).
I would like to give a free tutoring service for MAT 140, if you have difficulty in Math such as myself. Just pm me. Limited availability because I work too.
Thanks and good luck.
Honestly, 3 weeks is a lot for MAT 140. Considering most classes can be done in a few days to a week.

It's only for me, cause when I was at college decades ago, I got D for Introduction to Mathematics, and C for Statistics Methods. Perhaps for Math people then it could be done in a week?

Is this what you mean?
Sorry if I'm wrong, but I mean it's the Math on Sophia which transferred as MAT 140.

Which Sophia math course are you referring to?
Sorry if I'm mistaken, so I think SOPHIA's Introduction to Statistic transferred as MAT140 in UMPI... apparently it's not? So it's a Study.com class I just knew it...

Intro to Stats transfers to UMPI as Intro to Stats not MAT140 which is Business Math. Sophia does NOT have a course that transfers in as MAT140. UMPI has accepted Calculus 1 as a substitute for MAT140. Sophia's Calc 1 course has been used as a substitute. Calc 1 is waaaaay more challenging than MAT140. If you're not a math person, take UMPI's MAT140. If you love math, then take Sophia's Calc 1.

Not for the BABA degrees. They are required to take MAT140.
