Anyone with a Study.com Spanish 101/102 review?
#1
So has anyone tried it or finished? I'm taking it as a challenge and because I wanted to learn another language for a while now. I'm not really a big fan of all of Study.com's quizzes but for a language I'm kinda thinking that it works.

Good for you for taking some time to learn a language... Hope it works out for you...
I was looking into taking a language course at Straighterline or another provider, but the cost was expensive at Straighterline.

I also looked at the utility of taking a language course at Study.com, and thought it's a tad hard to learn a language at my age.
Went with another course instead otherwise, if I was a bit younger (like in my teens), I would have loved to learn another language.

I took the Spanish 105 course before the 101/102 were available. I would consider myself intermediate Spanish, leaning towards advanced but I don't think you'll have trouble with the courses as a newbie. There is a lot of repetition and the final was very similar to the quizzes and tests. I don't know what the projects are on those two courses but I had to give a speech in my course. I basically read the speech with occasional eye contact to the camera. I would definitely recommend going for it. If these two courses had been available when I was doing my Gen Ed stuff, I would have taken them for sure. When I looked at these courses a few weeks ago when they were added, there was a ton of overlap with the 105 course so you could do all 3. I wish I had taken Spanish more seriously earlier in my life!
