So I applied to UMPI for their Marketing Program on 3/27. Due to a low-ish GPA, I had to have short talk with admissions who said I could start out as non-degree and then move over to the Marketing concentration. That was 4/5. Last week 4/29 I talked to my enrollement specialist who told me they would get back (didnt) and gave me the same runaround today. I was wondering what my options are to speed this along? All my transcipts are in they did evaluations on it application is complete but i cannot log into anything and basically getting zero correspondence through any emails that i use. I was hoping to start next week but I really don't see that happening. Also this is my first time doing the alternative university route so I'm not sure how fast or slow the process is. Thanks!

Did you mark that you were doing the YourPace program?

Exactly who have you been talking to? The enrollment specialists are, unfortunately, only barely affiliated with UMPI. Once they have convinced you to apply, their job is done. They literally cannot do anything for you. You need to contact someone like Jessica to get set up, not an enrollment specialist.

The enrollment specialists are a blight on an otherwise great school like UMPI. They really should be eliminated.

Forget the enrollment specialists. They're like used car salespeople. They're NOT UMPI employees and are useless. Pretty much everyone on this forum knows more about YourPace than them. 

Did you specifically apply to the YourPace program when you filled out your application? Have you contacted YourPace admissions? That's what I would do. i would email Shea and ask to have her look into your application. UMPI does not process applications. U of M system processes them and for some reason many YourPace applicants are getting lost in the process. Email Shea and she will help you. I'll pm you her email address.

Yes I am able to access MaineStreet. That where I was able to get my Student ID# and see that my application was in the completed status. Other than that, I have no access on the site (no advisor link, cant add classes etc.)

You won't have an advisor link or be able to add classes. That's all for on campus students. Does it say your application was approved? Definitely reach out to Shea and see what she says about your status. If you've been accepted, then you need to contact Jessica to schedule your classes and get your degree evaluation form. Only Jessica can add classes.

Application only says complete. I just talked to her and gave me Jessicas email. Had to fill out a non-degree class registration form to transfer in. Do you know how long the evaluation takes? I can see all my credits from my previous universities that were approved, but i don't have a degree audit or anything like that

You won't get a degree audit on MaineStreet. Almost nothing on MaineStreet applies to YourPace students. It's for on campus students mostly. 

You'll get a degree evaluation from Jessica. She will email it to you. She's really busy right now so she may not get back to you until sometime next week.
