Wow, you're right. That's intense.
Damn, I should have paid more attention. If only my spanish buddy hadn't drunkenly stabbed somebody and run away to mexico (true story) maybe he would have been able to get me fluent enough to pass. That would be sweet.

Curse you Enrique!

Thats very interesting, I don't even believe TESC offers 45 credits from Fema alone. I do notice that all degrees are only Associates at the highest, but it does seem like a quick way to finish and get a degree. What else do they take and award credits for? In regards to tests that are selfgraded or self administered, or not proctored, or openbook, opencourse, or anything that would allow the person taking the test to look up the answers just to ensure a passing score. I think this would be great for building up credits since thats what they seem to major in. And then transfer the credits to TESC since they are from a fully accredited institution and then finishing with a bachelors at TESC instead of an Associates from Red Rocks.

If you want a Bachelor's degree from TESC, then they will decide how many FEMA credits will be allowed, which means you are back to the 27 credit limit again.

In other words, the associate degree would not transfer as a block of 60 credits. TESC gets to choose which credits count towards the Bachelor's degree.

If you go with Red Rocks, you will still have an associate degree. Always be very careful when trying to transfer associate degree credits to a bachelor's degree program. It can be very tricky, with lots of courses to do over.

So, you basically want a school that will hand you a degree under the theory that if you tell them you did the requisite work and they should believe that you, yourself did such work, and are worthy of it, just by your word?

There are entities that will do that for you... They're called diploma mills.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

If the system doesn't function in a way conducive to your success and you find a way to turn it on its head and make it work, that makes you a genius not a fraud. The school system sucks for some people, the smart ones who fall in that category will make it work for them. School is a business like any other, it's amazing that creative ways to save time and money are not more highly circulated among people who are already professionals at something!

Beside the FEMA credit is pretty legit, even if you looked up the answers to all the questions there is a ton of great information in there. Usually the questions are framed in such a way that prior knowledge or some heady research is required.
