Are alternative credits only an American thing?

In UK Universities can make up their own minds on admitting someone with an NA degree - in other countries, they may not have that option. I don't THINK most foreign evaluators "dig" as to where you got your transfer credit. If a "good" Uni accepted it -- it's as good as Blockchain. ... I THINK.

You would think so, but no. A friend's son got a diploma at one of these Swiss Hospitality schools and got credit for it at US RA College (through an articulation agreement). Then he wanted to get into a German Master's program, but the German evaluator didn't recognize Swiss studies for credit and, hence, his RA degree. Illogical, but it happened.

I went to the UK for a master's degree. Their standards are pretty stringent despite requiring fewer classes. The degrees are much more niche and specialized. They do NOT pull punches with grading. If your paper or project isn't up to par they will definitely let you know it.

I don't see them ever accepting ACE type credits.

UK have 'top-up' degrees, people who complete level 6 diplomas top up to a Bachelors and those with a level 7 top up to a Masters. HW has the test out Masters options and I recall they have a DBA that can be completed in 3 years... Fees Link: https://www.hw.ac.uk/ebs/study/online/fees.htm
