I was planning to use Sophia for several courses then enroll at WGU. Since I have done more research I am thinking UMPI is a better option for me. I have found some degree plans that use Study and Sophia to get it down to 10 courses at UMPI but since the changes took place in May I am not sure if they are accurate or not. Does anyone have a current spreadsheet or list that is up to date for this degree accelerated? Are all the GEC the same across all majors at UMPI?
Is this accurate:
I have looked at plotted path and it seems like I only have to take these at UMPI:
PSY 311 - Research Methods I 3 credits
PSY 446 - Psychobiology 3 credits
Then 10 of the core psychology courses but two of which I can do on Study.com leaving 8 at UMPI:
PSY 200 - Social Psychology
Social Psychology (Study.com)
PSY 235 - Abnormal Psychology
Abnormal Psychology (Study)
BA Psychology
Taken at Sophia
English Composition I 3
Workplace Writing II 3
Business Communication 3
English Composition I (duplicate)
Intro to Ethics 3
Intro to Sociology 3
Workplace Writing II (Duplicate)
Critical Thinking 3
Visual Communications 3
Intro to Statistics 3
Intro to Statistics (Duplicate)
Human Bio (Duplicate)
Environmental Science 3
Human Bio + Lab 4
Workplace Writing II (Duplicate)
Intro to Ethics (Duplicate)
Intro to Sociology (Duplicate)
US History I 3
Spanish I 3
Intro to Ethics (Duplicate)
US Government 3
Courses can be used twice to fill the requirement, but they won't double count as credit hours.

Great initial post to get the ball rolling and getting started in planning your degree requirements. I suggest having more info to paint a bigger overview of your scenario. Having said that, you're missing most of the information asked for on the addendum and template here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works
DegreeForum WIKI contents and plans are pretty much up-to-date (minus the Sophia/Study.com changes at UMPI). UMPI GEC is the same. For TESU and other institutions, general education and electives are the same across the board at most institutions, if not all. You can take whatever you want that is accepted for the electives, and the general education set is similar.

The GE course should be the same; I haven’t heard of any reports indicating changes.
In addition, the Psychology transfer remains the same as before, so the current degree plan should still be accurate.

I don't see a course for the General Education Curriculum requirement 2E "Students will develop knowledge and understanding of the arts and literature, including the analysis and critique of individual works of art, theater, film, music, or literature." Sophia Visual Communication meets 2D but does not meet 2E.
You can meet 2E at Sophia with your choice of Art History I or II or at Study with your choice among History of Western Art I or II or a literature course.

It's interesting that the UMPI DB now says Visual Communications counts for 2E. I don’t remember it saying that before. It also now says Critical Thinking works for 2D, but Visual Communications no longer meets the 2D requirement. Hmm.
I already wrote multiple essays describing 2D inconsistencies. I really hope I don’t have to do that for 2E now. Lol.

The visual communication course now comes in as Art 107, which is why the item it fulfills is different now.

Once you're done with all the classes, apply and transfer them to see where you stand. I would then complete the max transfer if you're still missing anything, to get the 90+ credits. Even though 90 can go into the degree, you can transfer more than that, it just doesn't go towards your degree (but can go towards your AALS if you decide to add this freebie).
