Transfer credit help needed - UMPI for BA in Accounting
#11
Merging your threads, this will help consolidate all the info about you and what you're looking for... From the looks of things, UMPI should have granted your general education requirements as you already have an associate and bachelors, you may just need to do the major for the accounting classes and remaining requirements for that particular major itself. File attached is great, however, I usually like to see the other academic evaluation where the advisor has highlighted in yellow your remaining classes, thus we just need to know what those are... You should speak with your academic advisor assigned to you, get that evaluation and post it, as you're missing the spreadsheet for reference and tracking purposes, you can create one and update that whenever you can...

Merging this to the thread... Please don't post a second thread asking the same thing as I just merged your threads. Again, speak with the academic advisor assigned to you, it's hard to decipher from that you've attached, it's easier to get something like this thread here where it lists what is missing for you: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid410872

attached my transfer report. I think I transferred in over 100 credits. Is this bad? I planned on doing some of the accounting and business classes at Sophia and study so I can transfer enough to do at least 30 credits at UMPI. I need the most affordable option.

So am I able to transfer in more classes pertaining to my major such as the business and accounting classes?

Although I have a bs I'm confused on how the gec works. I tried comparing it to the gec list on the website but I'm not sure what is actually missing? Also though I would be happy exempt from doing any gec period.

Anyone willing to help me with this? How do I understand what classes I need to do so they can transfer in.

So these are the classes I listed I need to do for gec to transfer in:

Us history
Asl
Bio everyday life
Env sci or climate change class
Intro to film or arts class
Creative decision making

Additional info about me

Location: Florida, USA
Degree I want: ba accounting
Current credits: 130 from previous bs and associate degree
Currently doing Sophia then study

Current ace credits: none
Certs military exp: none
Budget: pref 3k very difficult to achieve I'm sure ?

Commitments: work pt. Can study 20 hours a work min prob more just depends
Timeline: hoping to finish end of this year
Tuition assistance: none paying oop. Don't qualify for fin aid and don't want to take loans

Sarajane Wrote:Hi. I am so sorry for all the posts I made. When I saw the first thread was gone I didn't see any messages or comments saying they have been merged and assumed it deleted for another reason. Again I apologize I'm sure it quite annoying.

No worries, I consolidated them as it would be an easier option for you to have it within one thread. For example, if you were creating a first thread for Sophia.org classes, another second thread for Study.com classes, and then a third for a specific institution, you'll have it in an organized fashion, that would be great having it in different threads to keep the relevant details specific. Right now you're looking at getting a degree plan in place and it may be better to have the 'full' overall picture in one thread.

Let me merge your last thread... BTW, thanks for the private message, when I tried to respond, it mentioned you've got the private messages disabled. I am merging and updating this thread with the details above.
