- Project Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Finance
These join the concentrations starting in Fall Session 1:
- Communication
- Human Resource Management
- Entrepreneurship
I wish they offered an accounting/finance concentration instead of pure finance. Maybe they don’t have enough demand or profs to teach the accounting classes.
After I see what others say about the classes, I’ll consider enrolling in the MSB as I haven’t really found a good masters in accounting that I like and can afford. So may just settle for finance
I imagine most of the finance classes would require excel work and not as many papers (hopefully).
Many seem to be interested in BI, looks like it might be out sometime next year. I’m assuming they also don’t have enough profs for the classes especially who has a phd only woodman and curran come to mind. For finance trudel and maybe shah or reyes-F might be regular profs.
Accounting is a very useful and respected major, but finance pays signicantly better. I'd like to see them offer both concentrations with an emphasis on CPA exam preparation in the accounting concentration.

Finance pays better on average among graduates from elite schools, but I wonder if this extends to non-elite schools.
It would be great to see UMPI offer accounting and finance programs at both the master's and bachelor's levels. I'm quietly hoping they're designing some of the MSB courses for easy adaptation to populate additional baccalaureate business concentrations in the future. We've heard prospective student interest in the forums in in baccalaureate concentrations in Finance and HRM.

The YourPace page in the new catalog has the course lists for the first six concentrations currently.

Surprisingly, no direct overlap. The MAOL is all OLS courses, the MSBs are all BUS courses. It's possible UMPI would accept a little transfer credit, for example
maybe OLS 600 Leading Organizational Change to BUS 506 Change Management and Organizational Adaption.
