Hello Everyone,
So it's been a long while since I posted, but I'm almost done with the BSBA in CS (2022 calendar year). I've since obtained the Pierpont BOG AAS degree with a concentration in Information Systems, and completed all of the core requirements for the CS degree. It turns out that the only remaining categories that I need to fill are below:
1) Written Communication (basically English 102, will likely take the TECEP for this one)
2) Information Literacy (need to take this at TESU)
3) Civic Engagement and Awareness (US Government from Study.com didn't make the cut, so I'm in need of other possible options besides a TECEP)
4) 3 more Computer Science electives (taking Software Engineering at Study.com now, should hopefully be done by the end of December)
5) Capstone Course (also need to take at TESU)
Overall, everything else has gone over pretty smoothly. I was able to successfully transfer everything else in with the exception of Sophia's Intro to Web Development. The US Government course was placed under an elective, and per my advisor, TESU decided that the course "doesn't offer enough Civic Engagement" and cannot fulfill the requirement. Is there another Study.com course that I can take that will cross this one off? If so, please let me know. Thanks !
** Also, the thread about certain Study.com CS courses not transferring after a certain date turned out to be bogus. I was able to transfer in everything, along with the Sophia Calculus course (JIC anyone is wondering)

The correct Study.com for Civil Engagement is Political Science 103: Comparative Politics.

Software Engineering at SDC may not be accepted at all (I'd have to check). If it is accepted, it's only a LL elective. If its not accepted or if you need an UL elective, Saylor's Software Engineering comes in as CIS-351.

Yes, someone reported the equivalency only this week. It's UL from Saylor, but not from SDC.

Does TESU have a CompSci concentration now for their BSBA? Or is this the Computer Information Systems concentration?
Edit: Looks like this the BSBA CIS, plus a BA CompSci, got it.

Yes, someone reported the equivalency only this week. It's UL from Saylor, but not from SDC. I recently passed the Saylor's software engineer course 3 days ago, how many days it takes to appear the 3 credits badge in my credly account. Do I need to request it from Saylor or the process goes automatically.
