ECE Cultural Diversity TESC SOC-322

I'm trying to make sure that this will fit correctly and I thought I had read it somewhere but now I can't seem to find it. Before I drop the $240 I want to make sure that TESc will take this as an equivalent to their Cultural Diversity course. I placed a call in to TESC but I'm going to have to wait for an answer and I'm trying to get the test scheduled for tomorrow or Wednesday. Has anyone spoken to a TESC advisor and had this verified? cheersmate

Did anyone ever get an answer on this? I am in Mid Term week of the Cultural Diversity class and have no proctor. Apparently I was supposed to submit some paperwork the first week of class regarding my proctor so the school could mail the test. It sure would have been nice for someone to tell me this! The instructor isn't responding to my emails. If I end up dropping this course I would love to just test out of it.

Thank you all for all your post and help. This test does not have the customary two practice test EC usually offers. I passed with a B and here is what I did: read “On Being Different” by Kottak / Kozaitis, compiled notes form IC posts, Google books / Amazon you can have access to vocabulary terms of the other suggested book plus I read what was offered for free. Total: 4 days.
In addition to what has been posted, my exam covered a fair amount on:
Hegemony (four questions)
Hidden transcript (played out scenarios, interchanged ideas, order, like six questions)
Minority demographics
Booker T Washington
Segregation (tricky questions)


I am attaching my notes I compiled from the books I read (tons of theory--70% 0f test), I hope they are helpful. I took the test July 21st, 2011, sorry I took me a while, I went on vacation then came back and prepared for Intro to World Religions.

Oh my goodness, thank you so much for the notes! I was totally freaking out about this test, and not having a practice test to take for it. Now, I am still freaking out, just not as much.
