Beginners Guide To Getting Cheap/Fast College Credit
#51
If you had zero college, a PMP certification from PMI and were great at test taking...
Given the recent changes to Jefferson, which university would you choose for BSBA for fastest and least expensive route?
Charter Oaks or Jefferson? And why?
Thanks everyone!

fairly certain TESU is still slightly cheaper, but not by much over COSC anymore.

bjcheung77 thank you for this wonderful thread! I didn't read it when you first posted it (mainly because I'm not accumulating right now, just hanging out) but I think it should get 5 stars. Wink

KayV Wrote:TESU and COSC will both accept D grades for transfer, except in English Comp and AOS/ major courses. However, these D-for-Diploma courses can still be used for elective credits. This is especially helpful at TESU because all transfer grades count as Credit instead of a letter grade. COSC will transfer D grades as long as they don't drop your GPA below a 2.0, but they will be shown on the transcript.

I just spoke with COSC and the lady I spoke with said there is a ONE TIME opportunity when you send your transcripts in to have any Ds or Fs removed. *If* they are required classes you haven't retaken, you will have to repeat them, but your COSC transcripts wouldn't show low grades. I don't have any Ds but I do have some Fs that I won't be repeating the classes for, so I thought that was nice.

You can't change anything once it's posted. So there's just a caveat that things change, and to make sure you have current info before you take a course.
