OK, Intro to statistics is eating me alive. I've seen tons of threads in regards to ALEKS on this forum, but it's simply not for me. Does anyone have experience with Saylor, Study.com or other credit offering organizations? If so what is the least painful option? :willynilly:

From what I can gather, even people who otherwise like ALEKS think the Stats course is bad.
If it were me, I'd use something like Udacity and really buckle down, then test my luck with the $25 Saylor exam. As long as I was somewhere close on the free practice final.

Are saylor exams multiple choice for stats? Also are there unlimited attempts at both the practice final and real final for saylor? Are the practice and proctored final exams very similar?

yes, they are multiple choice. there are unlimited attempts, but i think there is a week or two waiting period in between attempts (which you can get around by making a new saylor account, i believe).
from what i hear, the practice and final are similar concepts, but different questions of couse. i don't have personal experience with them, however.

Introduction to Statistics is ACE recommended, Business Statistics is NCCRS recommended. For TESU, Saylor's Business Statistics is the only upper-level stats class I know of. Intro is lower-level like pretty much every other Stats course.
