Business Policy TECEP Book

Any particular reason to have the most recent edition of this book for the TECEP? It seems like the books don't change for most classes almost at all and the price difference is enormous. Anyone know if it matters here?

Jake how's your BSBA journey going?

It's coming along. I'm through midterms and I have A's in all classes (so far--haven't gotten second midterm grades for two of my classes, but I'm pretty sure I did well enough to maintain A's).

Now I'm planning for immediately after classes end. Taking the TECEP above and one last business DSST. That should be everything and I'll be done with this degree.

On a side note: People who do taxes for a living are to be pitied. I've never taken a class I like less than Tax Accounting. I have a high grade there (.97 over all), but it's such a depressing subject. I'll be glad to be past it! :-)

Congratulation, I know you really busted tail to get this done without cutting any corners. Good for you! You should be proud of yourself!

You'll do well on the Business Policy TECEP. I actually enjoyed answering the essay questions although I haven't done that volume of writing in such a short period before or since. The essay questions are generic enough to allow you to really show that you have learned the material.

Jake here is an interview of Michael Porter who was the wiz-kid Harvard professor who got the whole Business Strategy movement going. This will give you an overview and put in context the language and concepts used in the course....(at least it did for me)
