CIS/CS Certificates

WGU's BSCS isn't yet ABET accredited but it was purportedly designed with the intention of becoming ABET accredited. They need to have students graduate from the program before ABET will consider approval so it's something you might keep an eye on.

Before you break the bank getting something you may not need, you probably want to talk to the school and ask them if preference is given to an ABET-accredited degree in CS. I see nothing on their website that indicates there is a preference.

WGU not having a GPA may pose a problem.

Thanks! I've heard this and I'm definitely going to keep a close eye on it. If I could get that in 6 months on top of my BSBA it would probably be worth it for me if it does turn out to be accredited.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I will reach out to them when I finish my BSBA and see what my bet course of action is.
