CIS degree/transcript question

Hello,

I have a question about the CIS degree at TESU and I'm hoping someone can clear it up for me. I know it recently changed to BS in CIS from BSBA in CIS. For my purposes, a technical-sounding degree would be more beneficial than a business-sounding one. Has anyone graduated with the updated degree plan to know how it is listed on your transcript? Is it just Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, without any mention of business administration?

I would be curious to see what the BS CIS would look like on a transcript. Maybe someone will report back soon on this. 

As I understand, TESU reports the CIP code for this degree as a business degree. With enough transfer credit from Google certs, I imagine this could look like an IT degree.

Also, you can consider adding on the computer science associate degree.

No, but I already graduated. Yesterday (6/7/24) was the official graduation date. This is whole degree section.

So it does NOT show "Bachelor of Science - Computer Information Systems" but rather the old "Bachelor of Science Business Administration - Computer Information Systems".

That might be good news for some here and bad news for others (who wished that it looked more "technical" and less "business-like").

Did we ever figure out which other BSBA concentrations can be combined with this one? Presumably not Finance?

The BSBA listed is for his accounting degree. This CIS is listed as BS CIS.
