Thanks everyone for the replies. I’m waiting to hear back from TESU still on my academic evaluation.

I'm curious if TESU would even bring in this LEVA certification, it may be used for PLA though...

Edit Reason: Changed sophia.com to sophia.org because my coffee hadn't kicked in yet.

I doubt they would give credit for the LEVA training or certification, I didn't even send it to them but maybe I will on the off chance of at least some general elective credits.
Thank you everyone for the input and suggestions. I have looked into UMPI and TESU, for some reason I keep deferring to TESU.
If I do a BALS-CJ at TESU, here is where I stand. (This is from the "what if I change my major" tool in student services, so not 100% reliable)

My areas of concern:
Are there any sophia(preferred, since I'm already paying) or STC courses that would cover the Ethical Leadership requirement?
Is there any way, either through RA, ACE, CLEP or even from TESU, to complete the CJ courses as self paced? I'm trying to do this without any traditional online university courses.
What counts as the "Liberal Studies General Coursework"? 18 credits remaining looks like a lot, but if I could knock those out on sophia then I guess it isn't too bad.
For reference of the above RA credits that were used, here is what TESU accepted:
- ARTM30/Drawing and Composition I, grade C, TESU Equivalent ART-101, 3.00 CR

It looks like the Study.com Criminal Justice 104 may meet the requirement of SOC-291
According to the BA Criminal Justice Degree Plan, there are some other options for the UL Criminal Justice courses that I need to look into. This is making me consider doing a BA in Criminal Justice instead of BALS-CJ, even though that leaves me at 46 credits to go instead of 43. That is not that big of a difference, especially if they are easier to fill. I'll have to do the same analysis that I did above for the BACJ.
I did the academic evaluation for a BACJ, here is what I would need.
GE Requirements:
Written Communication 3SH S ophia.org English Composition II
Information Literacy 3SH
Diversity Intercultural Literacy 3SH Sophia.org Introduction to Sociology
Ethical Leadership 3SH Sophia.org Intro to Ethics? (this is in the sample degree plan, but not listed here)
Civic Engagement and Awareness 3SH Sophia.org US Government
Social Sciences 3SH Sophia.org Microeconomics
AOS Requirements:
Criminology 3SH S udy.org Criminal Justice 104: Introduction to Criminology
Law Enforcement 3SH
Research Methods 3SH Sophia.org Introduction to Statistics
Ethics 3SH Study.com Social Science 108: Ethics in the Social Sciences
Add'l AOS Elect 9SH
SH Earned: 6
Required: 9
Remaining: 3 Study.com Social Sciences (research needed on which one)
Liberal Arts Capstone (3SH)
Electives (30SH)
SH Earned: 19
Required: 30
Remaining: 11 Sophia.org Electives
For the electives I am thinking whatever is quickest on Sophia.org (no Touchstones). I am thinking Intro to Business, Project Management, ...?

Wow, you're actually really close to the BALS-CJ degree. Everything you're missing can be completed at Sophia or Study.com
For Ethical Leadership, take Sophia's Intro to Ethics
Forensic Science (AOJ-280) = Criminal Justice 106: Forensic Science @ SDC
Criminology (SOC-291) = Criminal Justice 104: Introduction to Criminology @ SDC
Victimology and Criminal Behavior (AOJ-381) = Criminal Justice 381: Victimology @ SDC
White Collar Crime (AOJ-303 or AOJ-484) = Criminal Justice 301: White Collar Crime @ SDC
Liberal Studies would be just about anything at Sophia that is not Business and doesn't overlap with anything you've already taken. There is also a limit of how many 100-level credits you could use.
What does your evaluation look like if you did the straight up BA CJ and not the BALS-CJ?
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Thanks! See my updated post for the straight up BA CJ.
Should I ask TESU about Sophia's Intro to Ethics? According to the equivalency list it is TESU's PHI-180, which is not on TESU's Gen Ed Course List for Ethical Leadership.

Do not talk to TESU ever, if possible!
Any Ethics course will work for "Ethical Leadership". Follow the wiki whenever possible, it gives a good guideline and is frequently updated when students report what does and doesn't work.

Law Enforcement is the tricky one. If you can't take the DSST, you may have to take the TESU class. It's not cheap, but it could be worth it if you really want this specific degree. It'll be cheaper if you are able to do a flat-rate 16-credit term with the cornerstone, capstone, AOJ-101 (Introduction to Law Enforcement), a 1-credit class, and 2 ePacks.
For the Social Sciences part, you can see suggestions here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...stice_Plan Pretty much anything from the list that doesn't overlap what you already have would be good. Make sure you have at least 15 UL credits (plus capstone, total 18 UL credits) in the AOS and AOS Additional Electives.

Thank you! I will follow the wiki guides.
I can do the Intro to Law Enforcement DSST, there is a testing center nearby and I prefer a paper test over a proctored online test. I just took a look at the fact sheet for this one and knew all the sample questions (it's a small sample, but I think a quick review of some stuff and I can ace this).
After seeing the academic evaluations for BALS-CJ and BA-CJ, which one do you think can be completed faster? Cost is not an issue and I will be paying the residency waiver.

The issue with the what if tool is that sometimes it doesn't count UL vs LL requirements. Maybe I'm missing it but it doesn't look like you'd have enough UL for the BA-CJ, but for the BALS-CJ you could make up any ULs under 'Add'l AOS Elect 9SH' category. Can you post the full 'what if' placement for the BA-CJ, it would help us see what they place UL/LL from what you already have.

In addition to what allvia mentioned, you should copy/paste the entire evaluation (notes, other courses below the evaluation, etc), this way we see the entire picture. Since you have so many interests, you can do the BACJ as you're pretty close, and maybe add a certificate or get the BSBA CIS, whatever else that floats your boat and fits your needs. You know your energy, money, time constraints... if it's too much to do, just stick with the BACJ, if you have plenty left in your tank, go for the extra learning.

If you do go this route, let us know if you can even take the Law Enforcement DSST. I remember it being suggested that this DSST was discontinued for some reason. Maybe it's back. Or maybe it was never discontinued in the first place.
