Alexandersen, Get which degree you like and can do in a quick manner. The Army did not care for 95% of us what the degree was in. They only cared that we had a "regionally accredited" one. Your young so understand YOU will need a masters degree to stay in and be competitive (not the case for us older types). We could just not make General. Think (long-term) what degree would I also want to get a masters in?

Ironically, TESC's BA in Natural Science and Mathematics is one of the fastest degrees to complete because you can test out of 100% of it with the exception of the capstone. It's more test-friendly than intelligence studies (which would be much more difficult to complete quickly than most other degrees and has no advantage because it's not listed as preferred) or one of the degrees on the acceptable list (political science, international relations, history, etc.). If someone leaves the military, then a STEM degree will make one more competitive with the CIA, FBI, NSA, etc.
Unless the OP truly has an interest in something else, I see nothing but pros for choosing natural science over everything else.
STEM degrees are listed as preferred (the Army is not as competitive as other branches)
Completing the natural science degree will be relatively cheap (that probably doesn't matter though with TA)
Completing the natural science degree will be fast. The only degree that's significantly faster is business at TESC.
If the OP ever leaves the military, intelligence jobs become even more competitive and have strong preferences toward certain majors.
I recommend going to the Federal Soup forum or some kind of Navy forum or sub-forum to gauge the current competitiveness of the intelligence officer position in the Navy.
