CLEP Degree? Negative People

I think this says it all. I am a very mature adult who is working on finally getting my degree. I have always been able to get well paying jobs that required I know much, accept much responsibility, make many important decisions, etc. As I sat in B&M classes it urked me that it was for a degree I wanted but that I had no need for this knowledge or that I was required to go through the motions just to get the credits. Online classes made that less of a problem but once I found this site, CLEP and DSSTs certainly has made it much more bearable, more affordable, and will allow me to do more in less time.

What's wrong with that. Ultimately, it is up to you to do the job! The degree just gives you more open doors to prove yourself.

I think this illustrates the beauty of non-traditional education. I've organized my degree so there's no useless stuff, it's all valuable (OK, maybe I'll cop to Info Lit, but it is good info, just kinda crazy that colleges have to make people take it to ensure they can sorta think). Testing out and DL let me do it my way in my time, and adapt to my learning style. There are so many ways to do college now, many many people can get their needs met.

There's always somebody to tell us what we're doing is wrong, bad, etc. I'm too busy using what I know to go into that much detail about how I learned it. To borrow a trademark
