The TECEP would come in as UL in the AoS

Oh, ok, got it.

The CPA track needs too many upper level credits, so it may not be worth it. I checked the requirements in my state (NJ) and it says that you need 24 accounting credits, but it doesn't specify upper or lower level. The upper level requirement is for TESU. I'm also taking extra random classes (or rather, I'm hoping to take random test-out tests), to fill up my degree for the 150 credits. As of right now I do not plan on going for a master's, I'm hoping to pass the CPA exam instead.

Plans can always change, however (and there's no guarantee that I will pass the CPA).
Goal: BSBA in Accounting through TESU, 150 credits, Credits so far: 137/150

Not sure how they would take Tax I and Federal Income Tax TECEP. All I know is they wont take any credit earned at a CC as UL. So the LL Tax course will be a Free Elective at best if you are the regular Accounting Track like me and not the CPA. I steered away from the CPA Track for the same reason. I really just needed an Associates as quick as possible to get advancement opportunities. But I should be able to finish this out in a few month extra and with a Bachelors so good deal in my opinion.

A bachelor's is much, much better than an associates, so that was a great decision!

So, if I do the Tax TECEP, I still need three more upper level classes. Any suggestions?

You could do Advanced Accounting and Applied Managerial Accounting from Study.com and then "Managerial Accounting" (Cost Accounting) from SL. Out of those three I feel like Managerial Accounting at SL has been the best one learning wise. It was not at all easy. I am taking the Final tomorrow and need to get the most correct then any other SL course so far. Both my other courses I didn't need any right to pass. This course has a Max 700 points before the final so you need to get every question correct to go in with a pass. Covered the matieral much better then Applied Managerial Accounting in my opinion.

Managerial Accounting from SL comes into TESU as ACC-303 Cost Accounting

Thanks for the link! I was able to find a discription for one of the courses I was looking for in the catalaog - the Negatiations and Conflict Management Course. But I can't find an actual course for the Organizational Development HRM460EX. If I type that into the search feature then it does show up as a competency exam but there doesn't seem to be a course with the exact same name so I'm not sure what to do. I might have to just register and use the syllibus like TESUAbroad suggested.

So... I'm a little confused. SL will not come in as a letter grade and neither will Study. Will that be a problem? Or is it enough that I have SOME accounting classes with grades?

thanks

You won't need to have all your classes with a Grade. Matter of fact you could apply to Company A and they could care less if you have a GPA at all, but Company B might say oh you only have 12 accounting credits with Grades, no way. So it is very hard to say. If I were you I would look up your states CPA requirements and see what they say about ACE style credits. I'm lucky that my states accepts ACE style credits towards MOST of the stuff. I am not talking all my Accounting Courses from BM schools that would be my graduation back way to far. I am aiming for what I need for the bachelors and then I can supplement other courses after.

I.E. - I will probably be taking an Auditing class from Oakton CC in the Summer. Don't need it for my degree, just CPA and some added Accounting Credits.
