Oh yeah, that was a fun course. I took everything first, then the final and the three presentations.
Just make sure you finish everything otherwise, it won't allow you to get ACE credit. If you have questions on Shmoop or Study.com, it's the same thing, you need to finish every part of the course to get credit. Your main focus for any ACE provider is to get 70% or higher cumulative total in the course. Details on Shmoop if you intend on taking them: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/showthr...?tid=28459

Thank you! I’m debating where to go for a history and American gov class. I’m not sure if StraighterLine or study is the better and / or cheaper route

You can take a final early without any concern for the course closing out. As mentioned, even with a passing score for the course, all exams need to be completed/graded prior to requesting through ACE. On a side note, the initial exam can be taken twice if you ever fall short of passing and there are additional points to grab in the exam.

I'd go with SL over Study.com for those, personally. Study.com is easy enough, but it's kind of a pain, with the bajillion individual quizzes. Although I'd look for a history class at SL that isn't Acrobatiq, if possible. I liked their Acrobatiq classes a LOT less than the ones they did in a more "traditional" textbook format.

How do you know if they are traditional or not? I’m thinking of doing western civ 1 and American gov through SL
