Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I looked at the Mac system requirements and I have everything they list. The only one that might be the problem is it says to enable pop ups. I am not sure how to do this--I don't remember ever setting this on my laptop-- it just never has had pop ups. I usually take these tests on my PC but I need to bring my laptop tomorrow and would appreciate any help! Thanks!

Yes, I've had this problem too. I discovered that Safari must not be compatible with Peterson's. However, Mozilla Firefox worked for me on a MacBook Pro. If you have it, you might want to try that. If you don't, I think it's free to dowload here:
Mozilla | Firefox web browser & Thunderbird email client
Hope this helps!

If you're getting the #500 Error you need to allow cookies - On PC's you must accept 3rd party cookies - On Macs you just need to allow All cookies
That should do it.

Storyteller's advice definitely works like a charm

If you are running Safari go to Preferences, then click on Security tab, and click on Accept Cookies Always. Works great--- I can now do Peterson tests on my MacBook!! You can always switch your settings back to what you had previously after taking the test. Thank you Storyteller for taking the time to figure this out and sharing the info!!!!
